ChiNext stock market up -- May 5

The ChiNext stock market was up Wednesday as all the 79 stocks at China's start-up board for small- and medium-sized enterprises rose except for two stocks were suspended from trading.

The board, which is based in Shenzhen and started trading on October 30, 2009, is tailored to the needs of enterprises engaged in independent innovation and other enterprises with great growth potential.
