中國日報網(wǎng)環(huán)球在線消息：11月26日9時40分許，中國國家航天局正式公布嫦娥一號衛(wèi)星傳回并制作完成的第一幅月面圖像。對此海外網(wǎng)民反應(yīng)熱烈。
澳大利亞網(wǎng)友John Elliot當(dāng)天在中國日報網(wǎng)站英文論壇（bbs.chinadaily.com.cn）上發(fā)帖：“從古到今中國在科技方面取得很多成績，所以我從來沒有低估過中國人民在這方面的水平和能力。中國最終將成為很多創(chuàng)新和科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。嫦娥一號的成功只是個開始，中國還會有光明的未來。中國探月計劃的成功只是科技發(fā)展的一方面。實際上中國在很多領(lǐng)域都取得了突破性進(jìn)展。中國又可以造福人類了。”

I never underestimate the abilities and capabilities of the Chinese people in all areas of science and technology based on what the Chinese had achieved in ancient time. China will eventually lead in many areas of innovations and sciences. This is just the beginning and the future hold bright promises for China. The recent success of lunar exploration is only one aspect of China's rise in science and technology areas. In fact much progress and breakthroughs have been made by China in fusion, nano, solar, nuclear, internet, genetic sciences and technologies etc. It is a welcome come-back by China to contribute to humanity.
