| 也許很多歌迷還記得在2005年度“美國偶像”決賽中，“偶像”冠軍Carrie
Underwood（凱莉·安德伍）和亞軍Bo Bice（波·拜斯）都分別演唱了一首“Inside your heaven”。
也是在同一年，冠亞軍又憑同一首發(fā)行單曲“Inside your heaven”雙雙擠進(jìn)Billboard單曲榜前十。特別是Carrie
Underwood的成績更為駭人，在發(fā)行首周轟下了天后前輩Mariah Carey（瑪麗亞·凱莉）的超級單曲“We belong
together”。
同一首歌曲以不同的風(fēng)格演繹，更能顯示出誰最善于表達(dá)歌曲的精髓和展示個(gè)人的魅力。“Inside your
heaven”本身屬于中等偏上的流行情歌，歌曲自身沒有太多可圈點(diǎn)之處。不過，就兩位“偶像”的唱功而言，我個(gè)人比較偏向Bo
Bice的演唱。與Carrie高亢不落的嗓音相比，Bo Bice的演繹更為深情、更顯張力。適合鄉(xiāng)村歌曲的Carrie
Underwood在唱類似“情到深處”的情歌時(shí)只顯高昂、不見高潮，缺少爆發(fā)力。
如果說Carrie Underwood的“Inside your heaven”是小女子式的吶喊，Bo
Bice則更像是成熟男人深沉的內(nèi)心獨(dú)白。

Underwood目前很紅。她無疑是繼Kelly Clarkson之后，“美國偶像”培養(yǎng)出來的最耀眼的新星。
今年2月份，Carrie
Underwood憑借一首“Jesus,take the
wheel”，榮獲第49屆格萊美最佳鄉(xiāng)村女歌手獎(jiǎng)。而在今年年初美國《公告牌》雜志公布的2006年度Billboard 200專輯榜中，Carrie
Underwood又憑借處女作專輯“Some Hearts”榮登2006年美國唱片市場的年度銷量冠軍。
與走鄉(xiāng)村路線的Carrie Underwood相比，風(fēng)格相當(dāng)明確的搖滾歌手Bo
Bice似乎要背運(yùn)一些。當(dāng)年，兩位美國偶像在決賽當(dāng)晚演唱“Inside your heaven”時(shí)，相當(dāng)一部分現(xiàn)場觀眾都認(rèn)為是Bo
Bice的唱功更為收放自如。只是，觀眾投票最終還是把“偶像”桂冠戴在了形象清純的鄰家女孩Carrie Underwood頭上。
在兩人隨后的處女專輯發(fā)行業(yè)績上，Bo Bice再次在“比賽”中敗在Carrie Underwood之下。2005年，Carrie
Underwood推出個(gè)人首張專輯“Some Hearts”之后，Bo Bice也推出了自己的第一張專輯“The Real
Thing”。雖然該專輯在發(fā)行后第一周的銷量名列當(dāng)周Billboard 200專輯榜第四位，但還是比Carrie Underwood的“Some
Hearts”首周銷量排名低了兩位。
撇開銷售量等一系列量化“考核”不談，Carrie Underwood的首張專輯“Some
Hearts”確實(shí)成績不菲。專輯中的歌曲基本上都是她最為擅長的流行鄉(xiāng)村音樂，其中還融合有鄉(xiāng)村/流行福音/抒情搖滾等曲風(fēng)。Carrie的歌聲兼具了流行搖滾的率真以及鄉(xiāng)村音樂的醇美，在她揮灑自如的演繹下，多數(shù)歌曲都得到了恰如其分的解讀，比如主打曲目“Jesus,
take the wheel”就是一首闡揚(yáng)信仰力量的鄉(xiāng)村心靈樂章，Carrie Underwood飽滿的音域、豐沛的情感在歌中被揮灑得淋漓盡致。
相比而言，Bo Bice那張堪稱“搖滾”陣容強(qiáng)大的“The Real Thing”就有點(diǎn)言過其實(shí)了。從專輯開場曲“The Real
Thing”開始，歌迷聽到的歌曲就跟其他當(dāng)代流行樂專輯沒什么兩樣。盡管嗓音條件巨佳的Bo
Bice在專輯中依然表現(xiàn)巨佳，但這張流行搖滾專輯實(shí)在“流行”的顯示不出Bo Bice最為驕傲的高音特長，難免會(huì)讓Bo Bice的樂迷失望。
不過，話又說回來，兩位新人“偶像”其實(shí)也才剛剛起步，現(xiàn)在評判孰高孰低似乎言之尚早。沒聽人說過？大器晚成者有之，曇花一現(xiàn)者有之，“泯然眾人者”亦有之。
