戀戀“長統靴”

剛剛談過“低腰褲”的種種表達，有網友隨即詢問，如何表達秋冬季節備受女士青睞的“長統靴”？碰巧在“美國偶像”的新聞中“撿”到了“thigh-high
boots”，以此為話題，我們今天談談“長統靴”。

crowned Wednesday as the newest and youngest "American Idol."
Past "Idol" winners and this season's contestants got a hefty share of
attention, starting with first-season winner Kelly Clarkson. She performed her

報道所指的“thigh-high boots”指的是“（過膝長至大腿的）超級長靴”，有時也可寫作“thigh-length boots”或“kinky boots”（見電影“Kinky
boots” ）。
比“thigh-high boots”短長及膝蓋的長靴，一般稱作“knee-high boots”（見圖 ）或者go-go
boots。上世紀60年代，舞鞋“go-go boots”（鞋跟較低，見圖 ）因為一種名為“Go-go
dancing”的舞蹈應運而生。不過，現代意義上，“Go-go
boots”可用來形容各種各樣的時尚女靴。
以此類推，長及小腿的半高統靴可寫作“calf-length
boots ”。
其實呀，如果想省事，“長靴”也可簡簡單單寫作“long boots”
