流性人，就是指在不同時間經歷性別認知改變的人，在他/她內心男孩兒和女孩兒的性別特征和表現交織在一起，而不適應傳統的女孩或是男孩的框架。

“流性人”就是指性別在男女之間“流動轉變”的性別認同。流性人也許經常會覺得自己是兩種傳統性別的混合體，但有時覺得自己更男性化，有時又覺得自己更女性化。
