前段時間大家都在討論娃娃相親會，我很詫異，想著小孩子干嗎這么著急呢。后來一了解，才知道原來所謂的“相親”只是新潮的80后父母給孩子找玩伴的一個戲虐說法而已。
“Baby dating” describes a trend where young parents try to find playmates for their kids through online platforms just like adults who are looking for a date. They list detailed requirements for the potential “son/daughter-in-law” and display pictures of their kids on different websites to attract attention.
“娃娃相親”指年輕的父母們用“相親”的方式通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)給小孩尋找玩伴的做法。他們會詳細(xì)列出對應(yīng)征對象的各項(xiàng)要求，并且在有關(guān)網(wǎng)站展示自己孩子的照片，吸引其它父母關(guān)注。
Young parents are doing this for various reasons:
娃娃相親的目的
1. To find a playmate for their kids.
為了給孩子找玩伴
2. In this way, they can “have” a daughter AND a son.
過把兒女雙全的癮
3. Through baby dating, the parents can also make new friends in the city.
多門親戚好走動
4. The kids can learn to get along with peers of the opposite sex from an early age.

5. It will be perfect if they come to a happy ending.
