互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的普及顛覆了傳統(tǒng)媒體的信息傳播方式，新聞不再是單向的，而是雙向互動(dòng)的。與互聯(lián)網(wǎng)及移動(dòng)媒體相對(duì)的那些傳統(tǒng)媒體就可以叫做legacy media。
Legacy media is the media that is considered "old," such as radio, television, and especially newspapers. With legacy media, the receiver does not contribute or interact with the content and remains totally passive.
Legacy media指收音機(jī)、電視，及尤以報(bào)紙為代表的“老式”媒體，即“傳統(tǒng)媒體”。傳統(tǒng)媒體的信息接收者不會(huì)為媒體貢獻(xiàn)內(nèi)容，也沒(méi)有任何互動(dòng)，完全是被動(dòng)接收的狀態(tài)。
Legacy media is also slang for Web sites that use outdated technology or presentation styles. It's the opposite of new media.
Legacy media有時(shí)也用來(lái)指代那些使用過(guò)時(shí)技術(shù)或展現(xiàn)風(fēng)格的網(wǎng)站，是與新媒體相對(duì)的媒體形式。
