Cats and dogs are human companions that we need to protect with a well-made law. The law would prohibit slaughtering and selling cats and dogs to avoid the formation of a market and an industry for cat and dog meat. The action of slaughtering and selling cats and dogs hurts the feelings of animal lovers. The prohibition would also rise out of concern about food safety and social security because much of the cat and dog meat produced or sold in public has not gone through quarantine inspection.

貓狗是人類的伴侶動(dòng)物，需要一部完善的《動(dòng)物保護(hù)法》來(lái)保護(hù)它們，不允許公開(kāi)販賣(mài)宰殺貓、狗，防止將貓、狗肉市場(chǎng)化、產(chǎn)業(yè)化。公開(kāi)宰殺販賣(mài)貓、狗，一方面會(huì)傷害愛(ài)護(hù)動(dòng)物人士的感情；另一方面出于食品安全、社會(huì)治安方面考慮，有很多貓狗肉來(lái)路不明，沒(méi)有經(jīng)過(guò)檢驗(yàn)檢疫。

Young people can become smokers by trying electronic cigarettes. Although fewer Chinese teenagers are using electronic cigarettes than in the West, 45 percent have heard of them, and 1.2 percent of middle school students in China have used them in the last 30 days. Stopping Chinese youth from using electronic cigarettes is a must.

在青少年中，電子煙很可能成為吸煙的入門(mén)產(chǎn)品。雖然中國(guó)青少年的電子煙使用率沒(méi)有歐美國(guó)家高，但據(jù)調(diào)查，中國(guó)的初中學(xué)生有45%的學(xué)生聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)電子煙，有1.2%的初中生在過(guò)去30天內(nèi)使用過(guò)電子煙。如何避免中國(guó)的青少年使用電子煙，已成為當(dāng)務(wù)之急。
