本片段劇情：比利將那些不被人看好的潛在明星球員一個(gè)個(gè)招致麾下。這天，比利帶女兒凱西去買吉他，凱西一邊彈吉他一邊唱歌給父親聽，在女兒甜美的歌聲中，比利想起了自己的青春歲月：曾經(jīng)在球探的說服下放棄名牌大學(xué)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金成為職業(yè)棒球手，然而最后卻未能在棒球場(chǎng)上嶄露頭角……
