Bluejacking means temporarily hijacking another person's cell phone by sending it an anonymous text message using the Bluetooth wireless networking system. Bluetooth works over a range of about 10 metres and phones fitted with it can be made to search for other handsets using it that will accept messages sent to them.
Bluejacking（bluetooth＋hijacking，藍牙劫持）指通過藍牙無線傳輸網絡給別人的手機發送匿名信息，感覺就好像突然把人家的手機劫持了一樣。藍牙的有效傳輸距離為十米，也就是說，在十米范圍內可以搜索到其它正在使用藍牙功能的便攜設備，并向其發送信息。
Bluejacking is usually harmless, but because bluejacked people generally don't know what has happened, they may think that their phone is malfunctioning. Usually, a bluejacker will only send a text message, but with modern phones it's possible to send images or sounds as well. Bluejacking has been used in guerrilla marketing campaigns to promote advergames.
藍牙劫持一般都不是惡意的。不過，因為收到匿名信息的人通常都不知道是怎么回事，所以有時會認為是他們的手機出了問題。藍牙劫持者一般會發送文字信息，不過，隨著手機不斷更新換代，現在也可以傳送圖片和音頻文件了。藍牙劫持多用于宣傳廣告游戲的游擊營銷活動。
