Cats and dogs are human companions that we need to protect with a well-made law. The law would prohibit slaughtering and selling cats and dogs to avoid the formation of a market and an industry for cat and dog meat. The action of slaughtering and selling cats and dogs hurts the feelings of animal lovers. The prohibition would also rise out of concern about food safety and social security because much of the cat and dog meat produced or sold in public has not gone through quarantine inspection.

貓狗是人類的伴侶動物，需要一部完善的《動物保護法》來保護它們，不允許公開販賣宰殺貓、狗，防止將貓、狗肉市場化、產業化。公開宰殺販賣貓、狗，一方面會傷害愛護動物人士的感情；另一方面出于食品安全、社會治安方面考慮，有很多貓狗肉來路不明，沒有經過檢驗檢疫。
