北京啟動(dòng)舊城區(qū)“修繕”工程

北京日前啟動(dòng)舊城區(qū)街巷綜合整治改造修繕工程，這是自新中國(guó)成立以來(lái)北京城市中心區(qū)規(guī)模最大的一次舊房改造。那么，“修繕”房屋怎么說(shuō)呢？

Beijing is planning its largest ever revamp of the city's imperial-era neighbourhoods and the ancient lanes in an effort to preserve cultural relics ahead of the Olympic Games next year.
Renovation work would see 1,474 courtyard properties spruced up in 40 Beijing "hutong", or alleyways, in four inner city districts, the Beijing News said.
據(jù)《新京報(bào)》報(bào)道，北京正在計(jì)劃對(duì)舊城區(qū)進(jìn)行新中國(guó)成立以來(lái)規(guī)模最大的一次綜合修繕工程，希望在明年的奧運(yùn)會(huì)之前保護(hù)北京文化遺產(chǎn)。修繕工作將在四個(gè)城區(qū)開(kāi)展，涉及40條胡同的1474個(gè)院落。
這里，“revamp”表示“修繕，修補(bǔ)”，舊街巷修繕表示為“the revamp of ancient lanes”。北京舊城區(qū)原為明清時(shí)代皇城地區(qū)，因此，對(duì)北京舊城區(qū)街巷修繕改造可以說(shuō)“the revamp of Beijing’s imperial-era neighbourhoods and the ancient lanes”。
