Beer goggles are fictitious eyeglasses which purportedly cause an inebriated wearer to see members of the opposite sex as more romantically attainable or physically attractive than they actually are.
大量飲酒會導致的結果大概是無法預計的吧？不過，有一個很明顯的附帶效果就是創造了“啤酒眼”這種選擇性視覺輔助功能。“啤酒眼”其實是一種像戴了眼鏡一樣的視覺幻想，據說可以讓醉酒的人對原本不太有吸引力的異性產生好感，覺得他們比平時更有魅力。
When a person becomes drunk enough to find physically unattractive people beautiful, he is said to be wearing beer goggles.
一個人酒喝多后覺得原本相貌平平的人也很漂亮，我們就說他戴了“啤酒眼”。
